Variance in Pivot Table

Hello:

Please refer to attached file.
I am now trying to learn the beauty of Pivot Table in Excel.
I have data as shown in Sheet1 and have created Pivot Table in Sheet3 to see the amount for 2014,2015 and 2016 for Jan and Feb.

I need to know how to add Variance in column E so that i can see increase/decrease %.

First move your total from column field to the row label field. Add your total field again to the row field. Click on value field settings and click on Show Values as. Click on the dropdown by Show Values as, then scroll down to % difference from and select previous. I then changed the column headings.
