hi Rixonomic, select the range you need from top left to bottom right (like A2:C10) & go to Home -> Conditional Formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format:
=MOD(ROW(),2)=0
or
=MOD(ROW(),2)=1
depending on whether you want the odd or even row to be highlighted
