I am trying to create a trade list in excel for customers but wanting it to show the image from the url instead of the url link, i have followed many different examples online with no joy, does anyone have a work around for this as its driving me mad!

You can copy the image Url by right clicking on the image and add that to a hyperlink in Excel. Is that what you're trying to do?

i am trying to get the actual image to show in the cell instead of the url link, so i can show this to traders so they can see item details and the image
The only way I know is to copy the image and store it locally if you don't want to link it to the image url.
You could also get the url and use Picture Insert Link to file

how would i do this as the formats i have done from google dont actually work they come up with errors, i literally have 900 images for products that i need to show on the spreadsheet

I really don't know how you would deal with that many images easily. To the best of my knowledge you're going to have to download them or find the link url for each and link to them in the spreadsheet.

If you want to create a smaller version of that workbook to share with us, perhaps someone can help.
Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Regarding this issue, I tried to do something with gathering and compiling information and ready VB codes from the net. This is what I came up with but not working at all. Still posting here as I am not expert in VB, but members experienced in VB coding may update and or at least look into it to see whether it is a right starting or not to solve the " excel trying to create trade list with images from url" posted by "techvision."
