Charting Weighted Data Points

Hi Everyone,
I had a minor in math in college, but I am now years out from that and no longer have my math tools handy (math software, text books, calculators, notes, etc.). I don't work in a technical field, but I sometimes have to perform statistical analysis at work. At these moments my only real tool is usually excel and I often get frustrated trying to remember my math classes while also learning how to navigate excel's tools. After a lengthy web search for solutions involving weighted data points, I found a thread here which had by far the best explanation and discussion I could find in excel forums. (The problem was not solved, but they helped me a lot in defining my question, if that makes sense.) I am excited to be a part of the forum. Thanks.
