    Hiding a Worksheet

I've got a spreadsheet that I designed at work. On it, it lists certain statistical numbers by month. I have another workbook that has a worksheet for each month detailing the numbers per salesman. What I want to do is combine the two books (which I know how to do) and link to the detailed worksheets from the one overall worksheet (which I also know how to do). The question I ask is this:

Is there any way to make the tabs for the detailed worksheets invisible, so they can only be loaded by clicking the hyperlink in the overall sheet? I tried using Format -> Sheet -> Hide, which does hide the tabs, but then the hyperlinks won't work anymore.
