Need to have text box return value in another text box by default

I have two fields in one of my forms, "Billing Cost" and "Amount Paid". Normally these two will be the same, but about 20% of the time they'll differ. I'd like to make "Amount Paid" default to the amount entered in "Billing Cost" to make the form more user friendly. They're all in the form called frmWaterPayments. How do I do this?

    Hi adam,

In the code where you add a new item you will probaby need something like:

I can't give you any more specific information without seeing a sample file.

Oops. Looks like we may have a misunderstanding. I'm going to need to see a sample file that contains 'frmWaterPayments' and the 'Billing Costs' and 'Amount Paid' fields in an uploaded file before I can help you further.

    Sorry.
