Smile Access Database Security - Advice needed

    Hello

I need to protect my Access database to imped at people who work with me to copy it and open it in another pc (home pc),

With help of a friend I have add into the database a code that check a file each time it is open (ex. C:/mytext.txt) If it is present the database opens; if no the database do not opens.

But it works only if "enable content is active"
if It is no active, the database can be read also without autorisation

Have you some idea to protect my database please?

    thanks

ps. If I set a password It is unuseful because I have to give It at the peoplke who works with me to open it...
