Creating Timelines Reports

Hi,

I have written a database in Excel. I use a lot of VBA programming. When upgrading Excel from 2007 to 2013, there was a graphical issues. The graphic gut stuck so it was impossible to see what actually happened on the screen after a while. To get the graphic to work we had to reinstall Excel 2007 and run the application from that version.

Using Excel 2007 is a temprary fix. We are looking for another program and I am investigating Access. Just a general question: Is it possible to create a report in Access looking like attached Excel timeline report? I have seen it's possible to insert an Unbound Object like Excel Worksheet in an Access report. But I don't know if it's possible to create that complex layout as attached file. Maybe I have to invoke Excel from Access by VBA programming and make the report in Excel. However, I don't know if I will experience the graphic issue again.

Can anyone give a tip how I can create this timeline from Access. Maybe give some reference where to look for information.
