Reverse Engineering links (excel)

Hi guys,

*Editing question because I have a more important question. and the old question isn't as relevant.*



If I go into an excel document and it is updating values from a different document, is there a way to check which excel are being updated?
(I.e, a command that highlights them all. Or a button that selects the cells that are linked, like the "Find (ctrl+F) command, but finds links to other documents?)

1st, this sounds like it is an excel question, but you posed in teh Access forum. Do you need it to be moved?

2nd, your question is a bit confusing...

If you go into an excel doc that has links, then that IS the doc that is being updated? No formula can "push" data to another cell.

If you go to the Data Tab/Edit Links - that will show you all the links IN that file
