    Delete Query Formatting

    Hey all,

I think I have a simple one, but I'm not really proficient in Access.

I have a table, where a column could produce "P" or "T" values. I want to run a query that gets rid of all "P" values. I thought I was on to something when the query asked "are you sure you want to delete 2 records?," so I was excited! When I returned to the table, I saw that the 2 rows itself says #Deleted in every cell, and I was hoping it would just remove the rows.

Is there a way that I can get a query to remove rows with "P" values and keep the Record ID in sequential numbering to identify the row #?

    Thank you!

Can you post a sample of your Access DB so that we have something to manipulate? You will need to zip your Access file before loading to this site. Read the yellow banner at the top of this page on how to upload a file

    Hey!

I highly appreciate your reply, but I was able to resolve this. It looks like I took the appropriate steps, but I just needed to reopen the tables. I didn't see a way to [Solved] the thread when resolving, so I just left the thread as is.
