where to start

Hi, first time user. This forum is great!

My situation is this. I have a few files that are extremely large. I have both access files and excel csv files, but I'm trying to figure out how I can open it in access, then create a program that allows me to simply perform searches by zipcode or whatever field I choose, then I can export to CSV.

I've been looking all over for an easy answer. I feel like it should be a very straight forward task, but playing with access seems like no joke.

any help is greatly appreciated.
