Creating an overdue date field to update data automatically

    Hi team.

I have got a table in Access which records the progress of orders within a company.

There is a form which includes the following fields amongst others:

    Order_ID
    Date_Commenced
    Date_Due
    Days_Overdue

I can add an unbound text field which records how many days overdue the order is but if I create a Days_Overdue field in the Orders Table, can I get the data in this field to update automatically based on what day it is.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks in advance

PS Access 2003 (not very experienced user!)

Hi sim i don't think so that this is possible.......one option is you can maintain data datewise........ and implement the date on that data so when you will add new data so by by that you can calculate how older the order is........
