    Angry Autopopulate Combo box

    Hi guys, Im stuck :S

I have a simple table with Site ID, Building Name, Tech name and so on..
I created a form which displays two combo boxes - Site ID and Building Name, and what i am trying to do is to autopopulate Building Name when Site ID is entered. I have tried everything: macros, criterias, VBA and nothing seems to work.

    Re: Autopopulate Combo box

    Hi Evgeny,

You'll need to provide more information about the database since what you've already described doesn't appear to make sense. Are you saying that Site ID and Building name have a one-to-one relationship or one-to-many? If it is one-to-one, then why use a second combo box? Do you have a separate table of Building names? Does it have it's own key or a foreign key? Is Site ID just an auto-number or an alphanumeric name?

    Cheers,

    Re: Autopopulate Combo box

Hi, i am quite new to Access, so forgive me if did not make much sense . Site ID and Building Name are stored in the same table, with one-to-one relationship.Site ID is the primary key, alphanumeric name.
What would be your suggestion to display this data appropriately?

    Regards,

    Evgeny
