Using a form in a query

I have created a form (with a subform) using two tables. Can I write a query by example using this form? If not how do I get the data in a format that access can query?

    Thanks all...........

Re: Using a form in a query

    You can!!!

Create a query in design mode. Then add the two tables to the query. Drag the field from table one to the field you match it with on table two. This will give you a solid line between the 2. Right click the line and select (should be choice 2) the one that says use all records from table 1, but only those records from table 2 that match table one(or something similar). You then add the * from both tables to the bottom of the query. Save it and you are good to go.

    Hope this helps!
