I have a table where one field is a dropdown choice (from another table).
For some reason when I run a make table query using this table, that particular field changes to the ID # and not the actual data.
A regular query works fine and returns the correct data. I tried changing the bound column but that has not worked
I would appreciate any direction.......

It's likely that the bound column between the tables is the ID; that's why it is showing up in the make-table query. What you refer to as the "actual data" is just the result of a query used for display purposes in the combo box or "drop-down choice".
A suggested solution would depend on the type of data you're dealing with. What is in that field?
