Search for specific numbers in a database

I have a database containing four digits in each row/column (approximately 160 numbers total). How can I have Excel search each row/column and find each number that contains the digits listed in the search?

Example: Search for: ______ 2743 (this number will change on a daily basis)

I want it to display all numbers in the database that contains at least one or more of the following digits – 2743 (double numbers are acceptable)

Note: the number 2743 is used as an example as it will change on a daily basis.

Can this be done? If so, how can I do it?

Is this in an Access db that you are having Excel Search? If that is the case, then in a query, put this into the criteria for the particular field Like *2743*

If this is in an Excel Spreadsheet, you could use the same criteria, using MS Query as the means to query your table. If you need a tutorial on MS Query, then click on this link.
