Copy of 1 cell into multiple worksheets in the same workbook

I am sure that this will be easy fior somne as you all have an amazing amount of experience so I will be tgrilled if you can help me..

I have a multi page excell spreadsheet and when I make a change to the version number and the date, on the master first page, I would like to have that change made into one of the cells that I currently have the same information on all the work sheets. Is this possible??

why not just use a formula, e.g.

=Sheet1!A1

you can copy and paste it into all the cells where you want the same information, and it will change automatically
