Extract information using criteria from only one column

Dear Experts,

Can you let me know how i can extract specific information from Data in one sheet using criteria from only one column and to transfer it to another sheet? For example:
Sheet 1:
1 2 3 4
A a b c x
B c a b z
C b a c z
D c c c x

Sheet 2: I want for all x from the 4th column to get only the information in the 1st and the 3th column:
a c x
c c x

I think you have your rows and columns mixed up? but if I understand you correctly, take a look at index/match and see if that gives you what you want?

if that doesnt work for you, i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
