Hello, I have a query in Access that returns Unmatched records from 2 linked excel documents. For some reason it returns the rows but there is no data. Is this because the books are linked, and is there any work around for it?

Something else I would add is that the query doesn't show data on the first tables I run the query on but it does others. It returns rows but no data on each row.
For some reason the query is adding about 150 rows with no value in them before it actually shows data. So the data is there but adding blank rows. Any reason why this happens? I checked both tables and their aren't extra rows in either one.
Suggest you post the SQL statement for the query.

Thank you for your response Alansidman, but I realized my error. The SQL was right but someone had went into the original document and cleared the values from one of the linked pages but left the rows. So the blank rows were being added in at the top of the query. I have marked the problem as solved! Thanks again.
