Hopefully what I am saying makes sense, but here is my scenario:
I have a pivot that should be showing the amount of hours a person has worked on a project when they are based in a certain location, ie....we have 5 people in Chile 10 people in Chicago, 17 people in Colorado etc...for a total of 500 hours.
I would like my data so show just that, but in some instances it is counting a person twice because they worked on more than one part of the project.....so instead of it saying 5 people in Chile, it might say 10 people in Chile, maybe 23 instead of 17 people in Colorado and 12 people instead of 10 in Chicago, for the same total hours....which means instead of 33 people for a total of 500 hours it's 43 people for a total of 500 hours.
I did a pivot that breaks down partially what I want:
Row label with office location and the persons name, that sums the hours under values.....that still leaves out the count of employees per office....is there a way to make a pivot from the data I have that will allow me to maybe use rows as a data source?
Put together a test that should what I am talking about....
