Advanced editable pivot table

I have a large information of data approx 75000 rows and 8 columns. I easiest way that I can view this information is in a pivot table. My challenge is how can i view this information in the form of a pivot table with the ability to resort and maximize and minimize information while still being able to enter information. For Example lets say i have a pivot table set up with all my info but i want to enter text such as last viewed on this date, or "reviewed by bob". Does anyone have any ideas?
