Excel Chart with Distance and Labeling on X Axis

I am trying to make an excel chart, preferably an area chart, with data like the following

Name of Point at Distance	Distance from Start in Feet	Level
A	4000	.88
B	4020	.34
C	5060	.59
D	5061	1.23
E	6090	.43

Want I need to make happen is have the x axis formatted to the distance from the start, but instead of showing the distance number, display the corresponding name to that distance. Name were taken in order (as in A comes before B, B before X, etc.). The Level in column C needs to be the value for the y axis. So for example, there are some areas where a lot of data was obtained and some where none was obtained. Every time I try and make this chart it treats the level data like was taken at even intervals and I cannot format it correspond to the distance at which the level was taken, much less label with the correct corresponding names. Attached below is a hand drawing of what I am trying to produce.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even direction to try and different program.
