Low values in my graph display in the wrong direction

    Hi all,

I've googled this issue a lot, perhaps my terminology is incorrect but I can't find a solution to it.

My issue is that I am using a bar chart to display an overlap of values which are extremely far from each other.

On one overlapped chart the value might be 200,000 and I need to overlap a value which may be 0.50.

This is what's happening in my chart - http://i.imgur.com/PyjLqNI.png

In the fifth column the 0.66 value is appearing as negative. However, this is not a negative value.

To handle scaling I am using a logarithmic scale.

Any thoughts? I'm going totally nuts !

    Kind regards,

    Luis

Your picture does not show the y axis. I know one of Excel's little "irritations" for me is that, when selecting a logarithmic y axis, Excel's default "x axis crosses at" value becomes 1. Since 0.66 is less than 1, this bar/column goes below the "axis". I expect all you need to do is go back into the format (y) axis dialog and specify a suitable "x axis crosses at" parameter.

Thank you! That's what it was, you rock!
