    Help with pivot table formatting/sorting

I have an excel file with three fields, Incident ID, Project Name, Number of Views. What i want is to create a pivot table with Project Name in Row and Count of " Number of Views" corresponding to the Project in Values, which is quite simple. But for me I need something like. Project 1-4 will display total count of Number of view where as
Project 5 I need count of views greater than 20
Project 6 I need count of views greater than 50
Project 7 I need count of views greater than 25
Project 8 I need count of views greater than 100

I have attached the excel file better understanding. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi,

    Welcome to the Forum.

I have updated pivot table after adding a helper column to the data source. Please see if this is what you are looking for (file attached).

Re: Help with pivot table formatting/sorting

    Hi,

Thanks for the help. It will indeed help me in someway. But I would like to know if there is anyway to remove those "Greater than" and "less than" part. I was looking something like we will provide validation in pivot table field settings and the table will just contain counts infront of projects as per the conditions. I really appreciate your help, just want to know if this is possible.

Like I said in the first post, against each project name I just need counts only in the following way.

Project 5 I need count of views greater than 20 only
Project 6 I need count of views greater than 50 only
Project 7 I need count of views greater than 25 only
Project 8 I need count of views greater than 100 only

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have modified the formula in the data source to match your requirement, please if this works for you (file attached). However, you won't be able to apply this kind of filter in Pivot Table field settings.
