Pivot search limited to 10,000, how do I exclude fields then please?

    Hi all,

I've been searching around and am aware that Excel has limited the number of views in a pivot filter to 10,000. This is fine if I'm searching for 1 or multiple items (I can use the search function and use add current selection to filter to build up a selection), but what happens when I want to EXCLUDE a list of options from a filter?!

For example, I have a list of 57 out of 10,000+ fields available, and I want to exclude 10 of these, any ideas please???

    Thanks,
    Mike

I'd add a column to the source data that flags the items you don't want visible.
