Chart multiple series from single table

Hello!

Wondering if I am going about this clunky, thinking a more elegant solution might be out there to learn from.

Take the following range - could be table - for example:

5-Aug Tom 5
7-Aug Tom 9
9-Aug Tom 3
11-Aug Tom 7
14-Aug Tom 4
17-Aug Tom 6
20-Aug Tom 7
25-Aug Tom 0
5-Aug Jane 4
7-Aug Jane 7
9-Aug Jane 2
11-Aug Jane 5
14-Aug Jane 9
17-Aug Jane 6
20-Aug Jane 3
25-Aug Jane 3
5-Aug Harry 8
7-Aug Harry 6
9-Aug Harry 4
11-Aug Harry 9
14-Aug Harry 8
17-Aug Harry 3
20-Aug Harry 6
25-Aug Harry 2

What I want to do is have on chart displaying one series of each person, date along the X and value (that follows the name) along the Y.

I am presently going to do so by running all values for each name into separate arrays using For/Next constructs, then assigning each array to a series.

Is there a more elegant way to go about this?

Thinking as an alternative I might just run multiple advancedfilters to extract ranges to tie to each series.

From that sample, a pivot chart would seem an easy approach.

I will have to play with that. Embarrassing to admit, but though I have worked with a number of pivot tables, I never have worked with a pivot chart! Good time to learn-
