the first list in each color is a dropdown box, and the whole box of three is another table name. however the table data isnt updating on the sheet when its protected, i have to unprotect the sheet, retype the info and press enter for it to add it to the table and subsequently the dropdown list. is there anyway to fix this via VBA? thanks guys!
been searching the internet for 2 hours and cant find a solution, this one is a tough one i see

this does exactly what i want with the example but i cant figure out how to apply it to my template and the 25 tables i have on mine!

Please upload a sample of your workbook, not a picture of your data. Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff)
Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.

Sorry, attached is the template! I think I have this in the wrong forum too, my initial thought was use a pivot table but this is just a normal table, sorry!
