    Dynamic Double Donut

I am trying to create a double donut chart based on income, expenses and remainder (net operating income - NOI)

I rent the property out to several tenants

    Tenant #1 - $200/Mo
    Tenant #2 - $400/Mo
    Tenant #3 - $300/Mo
    Tenant #4 - $800/Mo

This should be shown on the inner donut - full amount of rent and where is comes from.

    Then I have expenses:

    Vacancy/Collection Loss - 5% ($85/Mo)
    Electric - $400/Mo
    Taxes - $300/mo
    Management - $100/Mo
    Misc - $100/mo

Which results in my NOI, the remainder of ($715/Mo)

I want to produce something like this: (sorry, rough graphic)

    DblDonut.jpg

I attempted to create one on the attached spreadsheet at the bottom of the "IncomeApproach" tab, but was not successful.

    Please Help.

    Re: Dynamic Double Donut

Is this what you meant? The figures in the sheet appear to be per annum rather than per month so you might want to factor done the values in the chart.

    Andy -

Yes, that is exactly what I was looking to do. But, is there a way to make the NOI piece removed from the rest to stand out? It is the "remainder" that we are trying to solve for, so I would like it to be separate from the expenses.

Thank you by the way, you really know what you are doing when it comes to Excel.

    Re: Dynamic Double Donut

If you move the NOI section out it would cover part of the chart as the section is greater than 180 degrees.

Better to have a 3rd layer to the donut and format the sections
