Changing multiple series markers on a chart

Is there a way I can mass change the marker for all series on my chart. I am using a scatter plot and I want to change ALL 72 series from a circle marker to a square and resize them from a 5 to an 8.

I know how to go in and change each series (format data series), but if there was a quicker way, I would like to know it.

I guess also, Can i create my own chart layout? I see the already created ones that came with the Excel 2013 program, but if I could create my own, that would be even better.

You would need to use code to loop through all the series and change the format properties.
Why 72 series all the same and not 1 series? If it is for data label displaying series name then xl2013 now has the ability to directly link data label text to cells.

What sort of chart layout changes? It's possible to store a formatted chart as a template. Then apply that template to new or existing charts.
