Hi Guys
i have started to create a Dashboard for my works scorecard. i have set it up with the use of pivot tables/charts and the use of slicers to control the charts. I have this problem that when ever i update the scorecard (tab April) not all the charts update. i want this to be perfect before i put in to use at work but cant seem to find my answer. can anyone help

are you refreshing the pivot table after you updated the data?

Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.
Yeah i refresh but it doesn't update the chart unless i go in manually and select the new data ?
ok the way you have the filter set up
is to skip blanks
however if a new number not listed previously is entered
it will not get added to the filter but rather it will be left out
as such not "reapply/refreshing?" your graph
if you update the pivot tables to show Errors as 0 and show empty as 0
do you still need the filter blank in place?
im not sure how you use your sheet so i dont know if this can work

aslong as it updates when refreshed i dont mind how its set up.its driving me crazy now. i had a look at what you have donebut when i select all dates and all staff it doesnt give me my percentages in my last to charts in the dashboard ?
Any ideas
does this fix it?
i put in iferror infront of the formula for the % fields
yeah Humdingaling this has helped..my big problem now is that i have created this in 2010 (using slicers). my workplace only has 2007 excel and i cant get to use the slicers to control the graphs...is there a way around this.

oh...this is a big problem that many people have complained about
from what i can gather you can create "like slicers" with VBA
question is how good is your VBA?
