    Updating charts in a dashboard

I've been working on a Dashboard for my company, and while all the coding and formula's I've either already written or gotten awesome help from you guys with, my last little issue I'm having is with the actual charts. My issue isn't what charts to use, how to make them or anything like that, but instead why I can't get them to automatically update when I changed the input information in my data validation table. I have to change the information in my drop down bar and the click on each individual grap to make them actually change information. Is this a known bug/error, or am I just missing a step in linking the chart to the data that would do this without the clicking on the chart?

I suppose you COULD explicitly force them all to update via VBA if that is the ONLY thing that would solve it.

I would reference this link as others seem to close the workbook and reopen it. I would also try doing a full calculation with VBA and a few other things before though...

Re: Updating charts in a dashboard

Actually, I found the solution on my own! I logged back in and was messing around with a completely seperate tab, and when I went back I clicked on the chart to show a co-worker what I had been working on, and then when I clicked to a different set of information and went back, it updated automatically. So, I went through each set of data, clicked the chart once, and now they are automatically updating when I change my Data Validation. Thanks for the replies!
