    Grand Total Query

    Hi,

I am new to pivot tables and have a quick question.

I have a set of data that is supplied by two different people. At them moment I got a grand total that comes up totaling the two sets of data.

What I am after is to have toe two sets of data visible along with the variance between the two.

I have worked out how to find the variance but I then lose the original quantities.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Re: Grand Total Query

Please attach your sample EXCEL workbook..

You can either have a Helper Column, or try using Calculated Fields on the Pivot Table..

    Hi Splottoman,

Please post excel file. No one will type the data for you.

I guess you are talking about Asymmetric Reporting.

Sorry guys thought it might have been a case of someone telling me where I need to look.

I cannot attach the actual file as it is over 10MB.

Please find attached a smaller version of what I am after.Varification Sample.xlsx
