    Chart column borders inconsistent

    See here: http://puu.sh/j7hkE/20f316e370.png

This is a stacked column, with 4 series, the bottom one is transparent to give the "floating" effect, the other 3 series all have exactly the same settings for the border (0.75pt solid blue line) -- however as you can see clearly the bottom section is both fuzzy and off-centre. There are no effects (glow, shadow etc). I have many charts like this one, but only this series of this chart is acting strangely. Why would this be happening? Any ideas?

    Many thanks.

No file (workbook) - no precise answer
But try selecting chart then from chart tools - design select one of predefined styles (if possible - close to expected final effect) and finally apply your favourite formatting.
    Best Regards,

    Re: Chart column borders inconsistent

Unfortunately the data source is rather convoluted, and the data itself sensitive so not something I'm willing to share.

Changing the predefined style, then re-applying my settings did the trick, but that almost bothers me even more! What could I have missed that was causing the blurriness? Or is it simply a bug?

    Thanks

    Re: Chart column borders inconsistent

Glad my "use bigger hammer" solution helped.
As for the cause - was the graph type stacked bar from the creation, or may be at some point of time it was other type - line, scatter etc?
Of course you could replace real data with some dummy, but probably it is not worth it.
