reverse order of plotting on x-axis

Hi,

The attached excel file (version Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus) shows a single line graph with data plotted on both primary and secondary axis.

Data are plotted on x-axis in same order as they appear in table: recent dates on left side of plot ... older dates on right side.

I'm trying to reverse the order or plotting on the x-axis (so older dates are on left side of plot).

When I choose 'format axis' and reverse plotting order, only the data on the primary plot is reversed. Is there a way to reverse both data sets?

Hi,

I figured it out by noodling around a little...

- on Design tab, select 'add chart element' > 'axes'
- select vertical axes (primary and secondary) and put them as 'automatic'
- both x-axes should now be showing on screen
- then select primary axis with mouse, choose format axis, click reverse order, and repeat for secondary axis.
- then delete secondary x-axis
