Customize pivot chart axis

Hi,

I am trying to customize the X-axis from a pivot table chart but cannot find the way of doing it.

I have a chart linked to a pivot table where my filters are: Year, month, week, day

What I am looking for is to only display in the chart the week but not year, month and day

Is this possible? Any help would be much appreciated.

Short but useless answer to your question: Yes, I expect it is possible. Perhaps I am overly optimistic, but I tend to believe that most things are "possible" with enough time, patience, ingenuity, and skill.

I think that we will need more information in order to help find a more useful solution. Exactly what data do you have and how is it formatted and arranged? Exactly what settings are you using to generate the pivot table? Exactly what do you want the chart to look like? A small sample file showing your raw data, your pivot table, your pivot chart, and your best attempt at what you want the chart to look like, would help us help you.

One thing that may come up is that pivot charts have certain limitations that can make them difficult to work with -- especially when we are talking about customizing the x axis. I removed the months by highlighting the chart and deselecting month in the PivotTable field list:

Thank your very much for your help! It is actually what I was looking for!! But... how does the pivot table knows then which month to filter (when selecting it from the slicer) if we have un-selected them from the table?

On the file that I attached to post #4 the "Month" slicer changes the chart even with months deselected from the PivotTable Field List. I can't explain how it is working, perhaps because the chart was created with months selected and afterwards the months were deselected.
