Create a chart using only certain data from a table

I have a chart of expenditures from one of my credit cards. I want to make a chart that can look up certain categories of purchases and make a chart displaying the variety of items in that category. For example, the category is gas. So the chart will be of only the gas purchases and the sections will be of where the gas was purchased. Let's say I purchased gas from Costco and Maverick, then it would be a pie chart displaying how often i used Costco vs Maverick.

This is a screenshot of my current data. How can I do this, if even possible. Also, I would like to have a chart for multiple categories, so not only how do I do this, but how cna I apply the same function to many charts?

I think I found a way around it. I used this to list the locations i purchased gas at: =IFERROR(INDEX($A$1:$B$101,SMALL(IF($A:$A="Gas",ROW($A:$A)),ROW(1:1)),2),""). Then, I can use this chart as a reference to count how many of each location appear, ie: =COUNTIF(E:E,"Costco"). Then, I can just make a pie chart based off of the new data. Which is only the locations and how many times each one appears in the total data.
