    Question Right Angled Diagram

How do I create a diagram/graph as shown below in Excel? (preferably Excel 2007, but not necessarily)

    \1

    Information given is x-axis data (0, 5, 10, 15, etc.), y-axis data (0, 5, 10, 15, etc.) and degrees from 0 to 90 (right angle).

    The graph looks like:

    if x-axis is 5, then y-axis is 27 for 10 degrees,
if a-xis is 10, then y-axis is 27 for 20 degrees and so on and so forth.

    Thank you all in advance.

    Re: Right Angled Diagram

I expect that my unit circle spreadsheet could easily be used as a starting point for something like this: http://www.excelforum.com/tips-and-t...han-excel.html Since your angles are increasing CW starting at the positive y axis, you probably want the 2nd spreadsheet in post #3.

Andy Pope's "polar plot" could also be a good starting point. http://andypope.info/charts/polarplot3.htm

Thank you very much for your reply, it was really handy.

Could anyone please advise how to make degree data into the diagram as shown below? I had to put them manually using an image editor tool.

Easiest way is to use Rob Bovey's XY chart labeler add-in (download from appspro.com )
