Trend line & data points over wrong bar charts

    Trend line & data points over wrong bar charts

    Hi guys,

    How can I simply move over the data points to corresponding bar charts ? for all bar charts ?
    - as shown by red arrow just for the first 3 columns

    Very very much appreciated !

    The lines need to be xy-scatter rather than line.

    With xy-scatter you can control the x position to be center of each column.

    I think your comment can helpful, but I can't apply it. What exactly should I do ? sorry if sounding dumb.
    - to be frank, I feel that I already had the desired outcome before, but I just clicked something wrongly and I can't reverse it.

    Chart is made from PowerPivot 2013. I'd much appreciate steps in how to apply it your suggestion

    You never mentioned it was a pivot chart. You can not use xy-scatter in pivot chart so you will not be able to offset the lines to align with columns. The lines will all be centered over a category.

    Working with a pivot table certainly complicates things. I suspect that the tutorial in #5 that Andy pointed to should work. You may need to review this one as well (http://peltiertech.com/regular-chart...-pivot-tables/ ) that talks about the complications of working with pivot data in a regular (non-pivot) chart.
