    Noob Pie Chart Question

Hey all, new member here and I've been using excel more and more lately. THought this site would be really useful. Today I have a problem...

Ok so Im trying to make a pie chart based on some data. I ill attach pics.

Basically, I want to make a pie chart that shows the total amount of leads generated by each respective marketing method as I input leads throughout the month.

I can't seem to figure out how to make the top row the labels for the chart and the columns below the data. I know its probably pretty simple but its driving me crazy! Anyways, Ill be working on it and home for some replies! Thanks!

    Re: Noob Pie Chart Question

It would help a lot if you posted a sample spreadsheet without sensitive data.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

    Re: Noob Pie Chart Question

    Welcome to the forum.
One of the advantages to using this forum is the ability to upload your spreadsheet, or a sample, instead of just a picture. To attach a workbook/spreadsheet, click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
    Some things to consider:
    - Make sure there is enough data to demonstrate your need.
    - Make sure your desired result (chart) is shown, mock it up manually.
    - Remember to desensitize the data.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
