Double Axis Horizontal Combo Chart - Clustered Bar + Line

When creating a double axis horizontal chart that are both clustered bar, excel formats it correctly in that the primary axis is on the bottom (horizontally) and the secondary axis is on the top (horizontally). However, when i change one of the data series into a line chart, the horizontal axis will move to the vertical axis which is not what I want. Do you know how to keep it horizontally?

Excel incorrectly moves the secondary axis to the vertical position to the right but i want to keep it at the top!

You have to use xy-scatter rather than line chart in order to get a vertically positionable line.

I tried that as well and had the same problem.

Once you change to xy-scatter you have to make sure the x values are the data and provide y values to align with bars.

You may also have to make the secondary horizontal axis visible.
