Axis title macro recorded code won't run

After having worked with macro recorded chart creating I finally realized that my Y-axis wasn't labeled, so first I tried just recording the addition of the Y-axis label, but when that code kept failing I recreated the entire chart with the macro recorder on and included labeling the Y axis in a macro. Same idiot error: Runtime error '424': Object Required.

Since the macro recorder is not properly recording code, would anyone with some expertise clue me in on what is missing? I get the error on the very first line of the following code. Here is what it writes specifically for the Y-axis label:

The chart of interest needs to be selected when that code runs. Is it?

Great to see you again shg!

Yes, I strongly believe so. In order to verify my belief I just tried running the sub with the above code inserted immediately after:

and still got the same error message with the code halting on the first line of the original posted code.

    OUTSTANDING!!!

Thank-you very much Andy. I know you have helped me before and I have certainly used your advice to others as well; I feel that my adding to your reputation is kind of like a newly inducted Private saying that a General does a great job, but for what it's worth I am going to do so.
