I am trying to copy over some charts i have made on excel to my word document using paste special. It worked previously but has stopped working (it wont let me do it)
what can i do to change this?

Have you tried repairing the Office installation (e.g. via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair or, in Office 2007, via Word/Excel Options|Resources|Diagnose)?
