The horazontal line in my line chart shows all dates as 1900 instead of 2016, 2017, 2018, etc..
How do I get it to display the actual selected dates?

Excel regards the date 1900 as 0.
You are displaying zeroe values so you've obviously not selected the date correctly.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Don't understand what your saying. I selected a column of years from 2016 to 2035. the chart displays them all as 1900.
I tried a few different ways of formatting the dates to no avail.
Would you please explain how I would "select the dates corectly" to fix this?

Did you format the axis as yyyy perhaps? You should format it as General if you only have the year part.
