    Post 3D Maps

    Hi All,
I am using the new 3D Map feature in Excel.
I need the user to be able to zoom and move around the custom heat map I have created without messing up the settings.
The screen shot cannot capture the custom map in detail to show the hotpots and other information from the custom map.
Is there a way around this?

Thanks for your help and sorry if this is in the wrong section...............

    Re: 3D Maps

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one.

    1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

    2. Make sure that your desired solution is also shown (mock up the results manually).

    3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).

    4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.

    Re: 3D Maps

    Thanks AliGW,

In the workbook I have imported data from our CRM, a series of queries populate other worksheets to build the information for the New Estate hot spots.
The map generated in the 3d Map tool is exactly what I want, however I can only show the complete estate in a snapshot (Ariella Stock Activity Image).
I want to be able to embed the interactive image (as in the 3D Map tool) so they can zoom in to areas on the map (Image in Estate Activity Maps Sheet for example).
Can this be done within Excel? Can I export the interactive image via some code?

    Any help greatly appreciated
