Merge two field sources in one pivot table column

    Hi,

    Hope someone can help.

I work in a hospital as an analyst. I have attached a scrren shot to help me explain my problem.

We have done an audit regarding antibiotics taken. Using a pivot table it is easy to summarise how many of each antibiotic has been taken.

However, in some cases there have been patients that have been on more than one antibiotic at the same time.

Is there a way of merging the fields in the pivot table together so I can get a grand total for each antibiotic. Can this be done without altering the source table?

    Thanks

Use the wizard to create a PivotTable with the option of multiple consolidation ranges. By adding data ranges you need to select more than display the PivotTable. Create one field hand and ready. I do not know whether I was well understood, does not speak English well.
