Excel plots disappeared, need them back

I worked the whole day yesterday making plots from the data I had in my excel file. I did not hide any data or any cells in the file. I saved everything and when I opened it today, all the plots disappeared. I need to get them back as I don't want to repeat the whole thing. I tried to find help online but there is no useful solutions, every advice is to "hit ctr+6" or "just make a new plot". Does anyone know how to restore the plots ?

Open VBA editor (press Alt+F11) Hit Alt+I, M

It will try to switch on displaying shapes, and change visibility of plots one by one, and at the end display summary how many (despite visible or not) plots are there in workbook.
If you get the list of sheet names all with 0's - the plots are probably lost. if there are numbers - they are there just invisible (or may be now already visible?)

Thanks for this. I have ran the code and it sadly says there are 0 plots in my file. I guess they are somehow lost then. Thank you anyways for the help.

Sorry to hear so.
What format have you saved it? Wasn't it csv?

May be somebody else will have other idea, but from my experience - 0's in the message box mean: there are no plots in the file

Yes, it was a csv file. I directly worked off of data exported from another program hence the format. Luckily, no actual data was lost, it's just a setback as the plots were ready to be used in a report.
