Hi, I've got a table for students with their module grade and attendance during the semester for plotting a scatter graph. I was hoping that I could conditionally format the colour of the plot points based on a third column of data relating to the gender of the students so that all the Male student's plot points would be one colour and all the female students would be another.
I've done some reasonably extensive Googling and can only find descriptions of how to have different colours on bar charts or lines on scatter graphs where you setup ranges within one of the two (X or Y) ranges of values. A possible complicating factor might be that my 'M' or 'F' values are text rather than numbers but I've also tried replacing them with ones and zeroes without much luck (and having now written that sentence I'm doubting that this is really the issue!)
Any help would be appreciated thanks.
