chart time horizon of an investm

Hi everone
Ive got a couple of rows which describe :
- time horizon of an investment
- its risk associated

How would chart so ? I'm getting an example attached but it looks a bit old fashioned to me and not so intuitive. How would you shape it to get a better view of risk level density with time horizon associated ?
