Pivot table not displaying products

Hello,

I have got a file which I use to track progress of production. I have created a pivot table in the pivot tab to read from overview tab so that it can display what are the section for each operation# by W/O.

Column C is containing W/O numbers [rows in the pivot table]
Column E is containing OP's numbers [columns in the pivot table]
Column I is containing Section names [values in the pivot tables]

I have set values to display products and set it as text but it only comes back with 0's.

Would anyone have an idea why this happens?

I have attached the file to show what I mean.

I appreciate anyone's effort as I am pulling my hair out over this.

Pivot tables aggregate numbers- they will not display text values.

Thank you both for your input. I understand it will not work. thank you for the explanation of the values only for the pivot tables. I will remember this for the future. [Although I think this is something for Microsoft guys to look into ].

I have found a different way to manipulate it [longwinded but still...].

The more tidied up way still is not bringing back what I need. Thank you anyway for the effort.
