Excel charting for Fed Dot Plot

Hello,

I am trying to recreate a Bloomberg chart in excel, more specifically the Fed Dot Plot chart. I have attached three images - the chart from Bloomberg that I am trying to recreate (black background), my data set (left side is a raw series of numbers, the right side have been converted to horizontal dots I would like to show), and the chart I am able to produce so far. On my chart, the red and green lines are separate data series and are fine. The issue is that excel is only picking up one data point from each date. Also, the dates on my chart do not match the X axis values I have selected.

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated!

I came across this query when looking for the solution, but subsequently worked it out. To show the multiple 'dots' you cannot plot the dots; rather, you need to plot a single data point (and not show it), and then only show the data label with the contents of the data label linking to the results of the REPT function cell. To plot the initial data point I needed to use an if statement to plot the consensus level, eg plot a single data point at 2.625 but not at 2.75.
